Widely recognised as one of the most inclusive fashion labels, Chromat is once again breaking boundaries in the swim- and bodywear industry.

For their latest collection, filmmaker Tourmaline and designer Becca McCharen-Tran, conceptualised a range inspired by the slogan Collective Opulence Celebrating Kindred (C.O.C.K) for “girls who don’t tuck, trans femmes, non-binary people, women [and] men”.

The gender-affirming, lifeguard-inspired collection features swimsuits- ranging in sizes from XS to 4X- with soft package pouches and wider gussets, all designed with the aim for empowering whoever wears the garment.

“This collection is about saving a life. It’s going back to the basics of fashion and aesthetics: Our self-fashioning is a powerful act, and in our power, we have a greater capacity to create safety for one another,” said McCharen-Trans in an interview with them..
