More Queer Content Available to Stream in South Africa.

Thanks to a distribution deal with OUTtv, South African streaming service Showmax will be home to more LGBTQIA+ content.

For now, viewers can stream:

  • The horror drag reality series Boulet Brothers' Dragula. Billed as a “horror punk rock drag party” by the creators, the show seeks to crown a Drag Supermonster every season.

  • The feel-good makeover show Drag SOS, which sees “The Family Gorgeous - one of the UK's most fabulous drag collectives - make a road trip across the country, transforming a wide range of unlikely protégées into bigger, bolder, braver drag-enhanced versions of themselves”.

  • And the one-woman show, Trixie Mattel: Skinny Legend. In this comedy variety show, RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars season 3 winner, Trixie Mattel, treats hers fans to musical numbers, stand-up routines and audience interactions.

Showmax is also scheduled to add more queer content from OUTtv on a monthly basis.
